Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
CSAlpha ("we", "us") is operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom. These Terms govern your use of csalpha.net, its tools, and the CSAlpha Developer API (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What CSAlpha is
CSAlpha analyses Counter-Strike 2 trade-up contracts using price and listing data collected from third-party marketplaces. It is an information and analysis tool. We do not sell, buy, hold, trade, or broker any in-game item, and we never take custody of your items or your Steam account.
CSAlpha is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike, CS2 and all related marks are trademarks of Valve Corporation. We are equally unaffiliated with CSFloat, Steam, DMarket, Skinport or any other marketplace whose public data we display.
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 to purchase a subscription. Accounts are created by signing in through Steam. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Steam credentials secure. We never receive or store your Steam password.
You may not use the Service to break the law, to breach Valve's or any marketplace's terms, to scrape or resell our data outside the Developer API, to circumvent rate limits or access controls, or to disrupt the Service for others.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the paid period, and we do not refund partial periods. Full terms are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We do not receive or store your card details. Stripe processes all payments and is the controller of that payment data.
4. Developer API
API access is granted by key. You are responsible for keeping your key secret and for all use made of it. Do not share, publish or resell it. We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke a key that exceeds its plan limits, is used to redistribute bulk data, or is used in a way that threatens the stability of the Service.
Data returned by the API is provided for use within your own product or research. You may not republish it as a competing bulk dataset or market-data feed.
5. No financial or trading advice
Everything CSAlpha shows -- expected values, probabilities, profit estimates, rankings, alerts -- is informational only and not advice. Trade-up outcomes are probabilistic and prices move constantly. Figures are calculated from third-party data that may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and past results never predict future ones.
You alone decide what to buy, craft or sell, and you alone bear the loss. See our Disclaimer.
6. Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or that data is accurate or current. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including free features, at any time. Where a paid plan is materially and permanently withdrawn, we will provide a pro-rata refund for the unused paid period.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
8. Intellectual property
The Service's design, code, text and original analysis are ours. Underlying market data belongs to its respective sources. You may not copy, scrape, mirror or create derivative products from the Service except through the Developer API within its plan limits.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms; if we terminate a paid account without cause, we refund the unused paid period.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above changes when we do, and material changes affecting paid plans will be notified by email or on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
